JENS PULVER | DRIVEN will be screened as a fundraiser for Idaho Voices for Children. This documentary takes you behind the scenes for an emotional roller coaster ride that proves equally heartbreaking and inspirational as we follow legendary mixed martial arts champion, Jens Pulver, on his 'last march' toward a do or die comeback after suffering four losses in the cage.
Ultimately, JENS PULVER | DRIVEN is a story about the universal human struggle to transcend personal loss in the pursuit of greatness. All of us share in this fight, but not all of us, like Jens Pulver, have it played out in front of millions on pay-per-view.
Idaho Voices for Children resolves problems facing Idaho's children in the area of health, education, safety and family economic security.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at www.idahovoices.org.

Experience the creativity of the company dancers as they express themselves as choreographers. An informal conversation through movement, thoughts and feelings, performers become creators. The development of new choreography is the life-blood of a ballet company. Ballet, unlike symphony or opera, depends on a constant infusion of new and original material to propel itself forward. Tradition in ballet is not static – it is the evolution of new material, new choreography, new ideas that shape a lively dialogue between choreographer, dancer and audience

"Six months out of every year, when we cook for them it never pays; Instead of praising our goulash, they're appraising the plays of Willie Mays!"...
So sings the wife of a1950’s baseball fanatic who trades his sole to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team in the pennant race against The New York Yankees. He leaves her and the goulash behind and as young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life (and wife) he's left at home. With the help of a handy escape clause and a guilt-ridden temptress named Lola, Joe outsmarts the Devil, returns to his former self and shepherds the Senators to the World Series . Filled with hit songs like “Whatever Lola Wants” and “You Gotta Have Heart”, DAMN YANKEES hit 7 Tony Award winning home runs!
Faust, fly balls, and devilishly good fun all meet at the home plate of the 7 Tony Award winning Broadway musical, DAMN YANKEES. This is the story of a 1950s middle-aged baseball fanatic who trades his sole to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team in the pennant race against The New York Yankees only to realize the true worth of the life (and wife) he's left behind. Filled with hit songs like “Whatever Lola Wants” and “You Gotta Have Heart”, this show is a musical comedy home run!
Home runs, hit songs and a sizzling temptress named Lola have made DAMN YANKEES a Musical Comedy favorite. Written by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross (of “The Pajama Game” fame), this frothy tale of a baseball fanatic who sells his sole to the Devil to help his favorite team win the pennant race won 7 Tony Awards – including Best Musical.
A devilishly good time musical … filled with hit songs like “Whatever Lola Wants” and “You Gotta Have Heart…DAMN YANKEES is the musical story of a baseball fanatic who sells his sole to the Devil to help his team win the pennant – only to learn that there is more to life than home runs. Its sassy and winning ways earned this baseball tale 7 Tony Awards – including Best Musical.

RAIN, the acclaimed Beatles concert, returns by popular demand! They look like them and they sound just like them! “The next best thing to seeing The Beatles,” raves the Denver Post. All the music and vocals are performed totally live! RAIN covers The Beatles from the earliest beginnings through the psychedelic late 60s and their long-haired hippie, hard-rocking rooftop days. RAIN is a multi-media, multi-dimensional experience...a fusion of historical footage and hilarious television commercials from the 1960s lights up video screens and live cameras zoom in for close-ups. “A thrilling bit of time-warping nostalgia…Boomer Heaven!” raves The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Uncanny! RAIN are a quartet of fine musicians in their own right…as The Beatles, they triumph!” cheers the Boston Herald. “An adoring Valentine to The Beatles,” declares the Washington Post. Sing along with your family and friends to such favorites as “Let It Be,” “Hey Jude,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Come Together” and “Can’t Buy Me Love,” and relive Beatlemania from Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road!

Don't miss the debut of the Broadway sensation War Horse, coming to the Morrison Center In Boise, June 7-9, 2012! Broadway In Boise is the official source of tickets to War Horse!
The National Theatre of Great Britain production of “War Horse” is the most anticipated drama to cross the Atlantic this season. Based on the much-loved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this magnificent piece of theatre will make its Boise premiere June 7-9, 2012.
“War Horse” premiered at the National Theatre in London in November 2007. It moved to London’s West End in March 2009 and continues to play there. “War Horse” is adapted by Nick Stafford, directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, and presented in association with Handspring Puppet Company.
Described as “…so exhilarating that it makes you rejoice to be alive… Its sheer skill and invention are simply awe-inspiring” by The Times of London, “War Horse” is a powerful and imaginative drama set at the outbreak of World War I in the English countryside and also the fields of battle in France and Germany.
“War Horse” tells the story of young Albert’s beloved horse, Joey, which has been sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. In a tale that the Sunday Express said is “…both epic and intimate,” and “absolutely guaranteed to move the heart,” Joey is caught in enemy crossfire and ends up serving both sides of the war before landing in no man’s land. Albert, not old enough to enlist, embarks on treacherous mission to find his horse and bring him home. What follows is a remarkable tale of courage, loyalty and friendship.
“War Horse” is filled with stirring music and songs, and at the heart of the show are life-sized puppets which bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to life on stage. “The puppetry is nothing short of miraculous,” according to The Times of London.

Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
At Relay, teams of people camp out at Bishop Kelly High School and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Because cancer never sleeps, our Relay is an overnight event. Relayers do not have to walk all night, but each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.
Everyone's reason to Relay is as unique as their own personal story. At Relay, you can find healing, comfort, and support from others who have faced cancer or who have lost a loved one to the disease. You have a chance to meet people in the community who are equally as passionate about finding an end to cancer in our lifetime.
No matter why you take part in Relay, however, one thing is clear: with every step you take, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives. With your help, we aren’t just fighting one type of cancer – we’re fighting for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. Each person who shares the Relay experience can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where this disease will no longer threaten the lives of our loved ones or claim another year of anyone’s life.

Welcome to a new kind of race: THE DIRTY DASH. This race that puts all other races to shame. The Dirty Dash is a mud run obstacle course where a military boot camp meets your inner five-year-old’s fantasy and subsequently converts boy to man and then man to swine.
You’ll need endurance to trudge up mountains of sludge, courage to overcome uncompromising obstacles, a complete lack of shame to wallow in pits of mud and a smile to show through at the end!
So let this mud run obstacle course become your new guilty pleasure. Go solo or with some of your dirtiest, filthiest, & uncouth friends. Either way, you’ll be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I am a Dirty Dasher!”… and then proceed to clean yourself off.

You will be covered in mud up to your Adam’s apple and then dodge through obstacles to emerge covered in suds. This race is more fun than a scrub in the tub on a Saturday night!
This 3.1-mile race combines the fun of a mud run with foam and watery obstacles for an experience that is a lot like running through a giant car wash! An amazing mix of pre-race activities and race obstacles remind participants that fitness can be fun. Come check out the race that will change how you look at racing. As soon as participants walk out the door of their car, they will notice that this is no ordinary race. It is not the killer music or the fact that almost everyone is dressed in costumes. The difference is that everyone is smiling! Smiling and racing do not usually go hand in hand, but the 5k Foam Fest is an amazing mix of pre-race activities and race obstacles that reminds participants that fitness can be fun. We make it a fun and exciting challenge for experienced and beginner runners alike. We pack the race with obstacles of all sorts. We are trying something new this year at BCT. In addition to the usual four full productions in our season we have expanded your opportunities for diverse and dynamic theater with two add-on productions. The first is a workshop production (think previews) of a new play written and performed by BCT associate artist Dwayne Blackaller. It’s the story of a man named Dexter whose life is about to change. When Dexter’s thumb goes numb, there’s only one person he can talk to: Chelsea, his dental hygienist, played by Elise Langer. Play your part in the development of a brand new play exploring symmetry, the complexities of identity, and the dividing line that runs through every human heart.

The magnificent score of LES MISÉRABLES includes the classic songs "I Dreamed a Dream", "On My Own", "Stars", "Bring Him Home", "Do You Hear the People Sing?", "One Day More", "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables", "Master Of The House" and many more.
Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schönberg's LES MISÉRABLES has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel and additional material by James Fenton. The new 25th anniversary production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell, designed by Matt Kinley, with costumes by Andreane Neofitou and additional costumes by Christine Rowland, lighting by Paule Constable and sound by Mick Potter.
